Twista – WNUR Freestyle from ‘94

So I’ve been chopping it up with Mike Treese (of Mass Hysteria) lately, and badgering him to send me some of the goodies from his classic Chicago Hip Hop stash (it’s heavy), and he just sent me this rare freestyle he *taped* (what you know about that?) from Kevin Beachum's WNUR radio show back in 1994. I believe this freestyle later appeared in track form on Twista’s 1994 indie release, Resurrection (more on that album coming soon), but I’m unsure of the exact track. More rarities to come…

Big thanks to Mike for blowing the dust off this gem.

yeah i dont remember the other verses, not saying theyre not dope but that intro alone is one of the illest ever,

"Test the immaculate cat you get splattered ya back'll spilt scattered like stacks of shit tracks'll get battered i'm accurate..."

and that was all in one breath...

or the outro,

"no askin for worse, snatchin bodies like it was cash in a purse, kick ass w a verse, take the respect of suckas break down their molecular structure, dissect when i buck ya left incomplete motherfucka one shot, one killed!"

too ill.

shout out to the real MCs w lyrics that still make you hit the rewind button!!!
