Good news: Mick Luter’s The Lesson mixtape is done, pressed up and ready for distribution. It will even be available at various locations around the city sometime this afternoon (PHLI, Leaders, Succezz, Solemates, St. Alfreds, Ibiza, Revolver Records, Gramaphone Records, Great Scott Records, The Bassment & Dr. Wax!). You can also purchase a copy online ($5 is a small price to pay for greatness) starting Monday as well. Eugene was nice enough to share a track from the mixtape, where Mick goes in over Fiddy’s “You Not Like Me”, to let you know what to expect.
And for all of you readers outside of the Chicagoland area, do yourself a favor and stop sleeping on Mick!
